I have no idea what quince smells like but star fruit is super subtle and kinda mineral-like in taste and smell IMHO, so I'm thinking it balances the blackcurrant (cassis) enough to keep it sparkly, rather than syrupy. This laid-back perfume is full of sparkling fun and playful seduction, perfect for the Hollister woman.

My only problem is I wish it lasted longer 😢 it only lasts about half an hour on me and its very disappointing because I love it so much! This fragrance has a note that lasts absolutely forever for a freshie, I could pick it in the air 10 hours after I sprayed it. Eau de Toilette (EDT): EDT’s are not as highly concentrated in oils and elixirs as an EDP or Perfume would be and contain one to three per cent of fragrance oils. Whilst in the base, the clean and warm background of salty driftwood, rainforest tonka and creamy musks is reminiscent of the salt water, sand and constant warmth of the blazing summer sun.It has a synthetic quality to it, it doesn’t smell especially natural or anything but it’s far from offensive to the nose the way a lot of other synthetic scents are. I have horrible grammar and jump back and forth a little during some of these reviews but i like to try to give expectations and go a little further in with the images and situations i see these really shining. I fully accept that opinions regarding perfumes are necessarily highly subjective; my experience after applying this eau de toilette every morning for at least a week was that the scent itself was very short lived and not really discernible by lunchtime.

Addendum: As this has dried it's actually changed again and is now projecting more and it smells exactly like the inside of a beach hut.

It's delicious and refreshing made for a lively soul but also for someone that loves being alone and comfortable with herself. Hollister Wave For Him aftershave crashes open with the bright and sharp note grapefruit, accented with bamboo leaves. I have experience with perfumes that have a fruity note that immediately attacks your nostrils heartlessly, but that is not the case in this frag thankfully. later into the dry down it still maintains its freshness and overall lasts about 5 to 6 hours for me and the scent stays on your cloths for even longer.
